I remember the first time I saw Anthony. He came into the office for a job interview and I was immediately drawn to him. I thought he was very handsome and polite. After he got hired I would see him around the office in the afternoon when he was finishing his work for the day. After a while it was almost every day that he would come up to the front to pretend to grab candy out of the bowl on the counter just so he could talk to me. Seeing him always gave me butterflies. He always made me laugh and had a way about him that made me feel so comfortable talking to him. He finally asked me out and for our first date he offered to cook me dinner, so that’s what we did. We talked the whole night and right before he left he leaned in and kissed me. That was it. I knew I really liked him and the rest is history. It didn’t take long for us both to fall for each other and I remember when he told me he was falling in love with me. I knew I had found “The One”. There was no doubt that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He was great to me and most important he was so good to my kids. Seeing how he was with my kids was the final deciding factor in knowing he was it for me. One night we were just sitting and talking about my favorite ring that I got from my parents when I graduated and about how I had lost it. I was so upset for the longest time about that ring. We talked of how I wish I still had it and next thing I know I look and he is on his knee and says to me that I can have this ring if I will marry him. He was so nervous he barely even got the question out. I couldn’t even catch my breath to answer I was caught completely off guard so I just started crying. I was so happy I couldn’t put anything into words. I of course said Yes and I can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives together.
